My friends bought me an Alexander session with James for my birthday. I have had long standing back and neck and shoulder issues. Alexander technique teaches you how to stand, sit, move ... essentially to 'be' with ease. The lovely James is a wonderfully skilled practitioner with a warm, gentle manner that immediately makes you feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend Alexander technique and James to help you iron out those tension spots and to give you greater insight into your own body, how it moves and how to improve that movement, thus reducing pain.

Excellent experience going to see James. He is a brilliant guy, great at what he does and made massive improvements to my back. I highly recommend James and Alexander Technique for long term or recurring back pain.

I definitely recommend James as an Alexander Technique teacher. He gave clear explanations that helped me understand what I was supposed to be doing and why. Friendly and relaxed.
Wilmslow sessions are really near the train station, and there's ample parking nearby.
